This is part of the map. I’ll be drawing it in pieces, rather than a large unwieldy map.

There will be at least one more of these maps, the entire city will be surrounded by walls, a moat, gates, etc.

I’ll make some smaller pngs to show the entire thing as one map when I get all of them done.

There isn’t exactly a government in Gashtra. There are a series of city-states that, mostly, cooperate with each other. There are also several tribes, like the trolls, who obey no one except their own leaders, such as they are.

The leaders in this area will be added at a later date.

farm land: wheat, corn, rye, cattle, elk, vegetables, other typical farm animals

forests: one has crop land with a religious center inside the forest. the other two have crop land and villages water: three lakes, various small streams mountains: one active volcano, one cinder cone, 2 basalt buttes, a small mountain range maximum height of 12,000 feet typical terrain: rolling hills with grasslands, the three forests aren’t densely wooded. The farm land is on a series of slightly raised fertile areas consisting of flat-topped hills.

I got many of these terms from one book and modified the meanings to fit my game world. The rest are from my understanding of the books. The definitions of terms I have in this glossary may vary from my interpretation of the same terms.

The name of the book is: ‘The Castle Explorer’s Guide’ by Frank Bottomley published by Avenel Books.

True, its a castle guide. But the first 200 pages is a castle parts dictionary, with illustrations. I found it to be very useful. The castle guide part is a short paragraph on each castle listed taking up the last 50 pages.
